And there was me thinking that newspapers were supposed to tell us stuff we didn't already know... it's not surprising that people are not prepared to pay for the tripe in the Guardian and they have to give it away for free... The real tripe from Newspapers comes from the Mail, the Express and the Sun plus a couple more. At least the Guardian does make an attempt to show the other side of the coin, which is why Rightists hate it  How do you know what the Mail and Express and Sun print, you've admitted you never read any 'rightist' newspapers, in case they corrupt your cookies FFS

The author is ; -- "Tim Bale is professor of politics at Queen Mary University of London and author of The Conservative Party after Brexit: Turmoil and Transformation" -- It's an article in the guardian written by a regular Guardian writer (as per the link posted by another poster) |

I can't think of anyone who read the Guardian. I recall one person read the Sun, but that was possibly the servant's quarters of a larger estate. Typical deliveries were 3 or more broadsheets, as per Times, Financial times, Telegraph and sometimes the Observer. |
