The governmentm Minister responsible for overseas territories has categorically stated that the Falkland Islands and Gibraltar are completely different situations to the Chagos Islands, and that there are no plans to open any discussions with either Argentina or Spain. Once again, posters are attempting to create a story where there is no story Starmer was asked a direct question about the future of the Falklands and Gibraltar, at that time he refused to answer which obviously set alarm bells ringing. Perhaps before committing one way or the other he had to get instructions from the Whitehouse. Keir Starmer Insists The Falkland Islands 'Will Remain British' Despite Chagos Handover ( Huffington Post ) ( Keir Starmer: speaking today ) " “My uncle nearly lost his life when his ship was torpedoed defending the Falklands. They are British and they will remain British. “And sovereignty in Gibraltar is equally not to be negotiated"

Blair really did get under your skin with his invitation to computer 'experts' from India. Don't you realize that you are the one who is suffering from that disagreement? Not really. You should have seen his face when the select committee took down his scam It depends just on who leads the select committee. I watched the Select Committee on the Chilcot report, it was a complete sham. I can't remember who led it but he was obviously anti-Blair and anti the Invasion of Iraq. He fed words into Chilcot's mouth, and Chilcot was thankful, even though a little embarrassed, at having to be rescued.

The point being, a few days ago during an interview he was asked a direct question about the future of the Falklands and Gibraltar, and he refused to answer. The nicest thing I can say about Starmer is, he does not instil any confidence.

They are British and they will remain British. “And sovereignty in Gibraltar is equally not to be negotiated" Two years ago Keir Starmer has said Labour’s plan to freeze energy bills, funded in part by an expanded windfall tax, is the radical approach needed to help households and reduce inflation, contrasting it with the inaction of a “lame duck” government. In a round of media interviews on Monday morning intended to seize the initiative on the crisis, the Labour leader rejected the idea he had been too slow to propose a solution, given he was on holiday last week. Under the proposals, the energy price cap would be frozen at the current level, meaning a planned 80% rise in October, taking the average household bill to about £3,600, would not happen. Quizzed on why he was spending close to £30bn on a scheme that also assisted better-off people, Starmer said that while some other targeted measures would remain in place, his was the best overall approach.” Starmer lies .

Interesting - the only ship torpedoed during the Falklands War was the Argentine cruiser, ARA General Belgrano.

No, I think it's pretty honest. We had 'my dad was a toolmaker' and now 'my uncle was a stoker on an Argentinian battleship'
Waiting now to see who trumps this - will Jenrick come out with 'my aunt was a guard at Belsen' and Ed Davey with 'my grandma was Pol Pot'.

Never mind the fact that he has effectively handed over British territory to China and betrayed the UK and the west as a whole. Still, it will eventually have to go through the commons to gain the act of parliament, but going by how disgustingly corrupt the entire establishment is, and by how confident that corruption is, I'm sure it will be stamped through. At least we can be reassured that parliament is corrupt to the core. Lammy and Starmer's devout cultist supporters on here will blindly support anything they do.

I doubt this is the end of the matter. Starmer gave the Chagos Islands away without a vote, without debate, and without consultation, in other words he completely bypassed the democratic process. There is certainly talk of an inquiry or even judicial review.

Considering David Lammy openly called for Parliament to ignore the democratic wishes of the country, after an expensive referendum to determine the direction of this country, I have full confidence that he's anti-democratic and a traitor.

Well yes, Starmer and his front bench are indeed anti-democratic, anti English traitors, or to put it another way, socialists.
