More cases of diphtheria among illegals were reported in England last week, according to the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA). The total number of cases for the year so far now stands at 57, figures published on Tuesday show. It comes after there were reports of fresh cases of diphtheria being found at the Manston migrant processing centre in Kent.
The UKHSA said seven cases of diphtheria among asylum seekers were reported between November 28 and December 4. In the previous week – from November 21 to November 27 – the total was 50 after five cases were reported.
Some 44 of the cases have been recorded in the South East, as well as fewer than five in each of the following areas: London; West Midlands, South West, North East and the North West, the latest report said. No breakdown by county has been provided.

However, apart from the £7 billion (current) annual bill for illegals, they also bring an outbreak of diphtheria, and lets face it, who knows what else. But I'm not criticising, perish the thought some outraged lefty should call me a racist. It is a strange world whereby the government can effectively lock up its own citizens so that they do not spread an unpleasant, but low level fatality, disease yet cannot stop non citizens arriving illegally bringing with them serious health hazards to the rest of the population, nor can they effectively quarantine the influx to isolate those health hazards. There is something rotten in the state... I suppose it is a strange world where those infected with notifiable diseases can be detained by government health officials and officers of the law and others to prevent uninfected citizens catching and dying of the disease. A 'research biochemist', that's not a bad job title to have on your CV. What did you study at university? Let me guess: Biology & chemistry? I was a graduate of the university with a single honours degree in biochemistry paid by the university to carry out three years postgraduate research at the university as a research assistant, while also working in the university hospital as a medical biochemist. How would you put that in less than twenty words on your CV ? You may need to explain that biology and chemistry is not the same as biochemistry. At grammar school I was invited to take biology as a career subject but in 1950 there weren't many openings, even allowing time for completing A-levels and uni was still a time when biology and its derivatives like biochemistry were hardly the stuff of careers. |
