All species have a golden period where all thrive, i reckon ours has been reached, and now we are heading for gradual, if not extinction, then something close to it. I reckon the 1980s was when we were at our best. If you take into account what is happening around the world then project forwards then its going to end in tears.
Our politics has abandoned truth and common sense, the Indian Islands is the latest example. All politicians lie, question time is a prime example, when truth is presented all will deny it in a quest to win a political war.
No tory will say that a Labour politician is right, and vice versa. Lying is expected.
Like Russia, when in power all will milk it for what its worth, football tickets etc. The infrastructure of government, the civil service is corrupt. Finance is laughable, bankruptcy, tax etc.
Crime.
All are symptoms of degeneration, collapse, chaos, as a country we cannot face up to the hard truth of owt, and we will pay, evolution will see to that. Its not about opposable thumbs anymoree, we are able to build anything, a trex cant write, but about mentality, progreess towards proper co-operation and across the board, ensuring survival, not as it is now, political war.
What will come after human beings? Whatever it is, it will be beetter than this chimps tea party.

In my view, the zenith is some way in the past. I would place it somewhere towards the end of the period the French call 'La Trente Glorieuse', the thirty years or so after WWII in which the social market economies were developed and the social welfare systems were created in Europe. It came to an end with the onset of globalisation and the unleashing of the global reserve armies of labour in the FSU, its satellites and the Far East.

I think what's happening is that the Labour party are basically anti-Britain. They've bee n like this for years but it got worse under Corbyn. They're determined to destroy the UK by whatever means possible. They're aided and abetted by the civil service and unions of course. And the Tories are too weak and stupid to do anything about it. With any luck this phase won't last.

I saw that this morning jonksy, when the body has an infection, anti bodies are created, and there you have it. When the local population are second best to immigrants etc expect trouble, and as would have it, anti bodies to anti bodies are created.
These people will be seen as wrong, when at root, they are correct, our rulers are quite mad.

Unfortunately what has happened is that the Great British Public have been persuaded that the onus is them to explain why the cultural and demographic transformation is both undesirable and unnecessary, rather than on its promoters and perpetrators. It’s also our job to explain why it won’t work, which is hard to do given the raft of legal sanctions against speaking out, as well as ownership of the media and other institutions.
It's really hard to see any way back from this, except for civil war and a territorial 'two state' solution.

The reversal of onus is quite a propaganda victory considering that "Why can't you go back to your homeland and leave these people alone?" is very clearly a far more reasonable rhetorical question than, "Why do you need to be left alone to have a community of your own?" |

Are posters distinguishing between our zenith as a species and the zenith of our civilisation? The former is at risk from climate change, but if that reduces the human population, what follows will be smaller but perhaps stronger and equally human. This has happened before, and what you describe as our zenith came after the Ice Age, not before it. The latter (our civilisation) has ebbed and flowed over the centuries, and its history certainly isn't over yet. The zenith of Western hegemony is evaporating before our eyes, and we're having to adapt to a very different global order, but that too may just be a stage on the way to a just, rational and humane world. Don't despair. |

How has this come about? Corbyn has infected all with his beliefs and anti semitism, Corbyns father hated Britain with a vengeance, as does Corbyn.
