Labour started with Ken Clarke's surplus and squandered it. They ran a deficit from 2001 - 2010 took us into an illegal war in Iraq, massively increased the size and cost of government, gave us shit laws we didn't need. And used the 2008-2009 global recession as an excuse for our August 2007 - 2010 recession. Labour are even more shit than the Tories. And they introduced fucking devolution...

The most racist, deliberately divisive and unrepresentative policy in modern British history. It should absolutely be abolished.

I won't call that a lie, but you just prove how naive you can be, when you choose to be. The economy did improve under John Major, proving just what a waste of space Thatcher was. BUT New-Labour inherited two big black economic holes where the NHS and State Education should have been. A surplus based on unpaid bills is a lie, its a lie that YOU CHOOSE to ignore. There was no illegal war in Iraq. Look up Blix's comment to the UN on his withdrawal of UN Inspectors in, March 18th IIRC, 2003. Just days before the invasion. Increased the size and cost of Government/ Just when and why exactly? Followed by your excessively biased opinion. The 2008 IFM first began to show its affect in 2007. Brown who visited Northern Rock in 2007 stated on TV as he left his meeting with Northern Rock that "THIS IS A BANKING PROBLEM THE BANKS NEED TO SORT IT OUT". So the fact that there was a Banking problem was recognised in 2007 but its cause was still not known. Your recall of history above clearly shows it is based upon your political bias, your final comment is proof of that.

Two sayings - The grass is greener on the other side Out of the frying pan and into the fire The Conservatives weren't good by any stretch of the imagination but Labour are just utterly worse, hence why they never ever get my vote. Its just to soon to judge this government. Not at all, it's more telling within the first weeks how it's going to turn out, and at the moment it's a low standard . Wait until the budget, calamity level will double. Labour are clueless.

If you owned a business, would you employ a thief to look after the petty cash? And here we are, Labour.

If the Tories had produced one single decent government from 2010 to 2024, they may have remained in government, but as usual their continued maladministration left a whole load of shizer for this government to clean up. Only those with a high level of political bias or a lack of insight that doesn't allow them to either see the economic mess the country is in, or to see the advantages that will arise for the UK if the economy is brought onto an even keel, are foolish enough to totally denigrate the government at this point in time And there are plenty of them. If labour had done so in Wales they might not be running scared of Reform.

You started the satire suggesting Labour are viable to your imaginary crisis. I merely placed an accurate analogy on your logic.

I merely placed an accurate analogy on your logic. So you start your post with two dishonest insinuations ^^^. Exactly what I would expect from lesser Rightist, Are you a Rightist? The country is in an economic mess, I don't think anyone denied that. Whether or not this Labour government can sort it out is unknown, only time will tell. Now it seems you do have a problem recognising a logical approach, but if you keep reading my posts, who knows, you might actually begin to understand what it means to be logical.
