Even the NSDAP in the 20's and 30's recognised actual problems and addressed them in order to get power. In the late 20's money in Germany was worthless, there was huge unemployment, and huge dissatisfaction with the ordinary parties which they exploited. They promised work and bread to all Germans. That was a big thing at the time. I have condemned their crimes enough times to not need to reiterate my opposition to what they did.
The FPO would be fools if they didn't address real problems in Austria including illegal immigration, and also legal immigration, because letting in huge numbers of unskilled labourers does not help the locals to get better pay and working conditions.
The other parties have been fools not to address such problems themselves.

It is interesting what we are seeing in Europe both in the Netherlands and Austria far right parties have won though due to PR do not have an outright majority though without a merger.
Makes it difficult for them to govern.
It makes our system look better............
