LONDON, Sept 28 (Reuters) - Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said he ordered military chiefs to plan a raid on a Dutch factory in March 2021 to secure 5 million COVID vaccines that the European Union had threatened to bar from being exported to Britain. Johnson said the deputy chief of Britain's defence staff at the time, Lieutenant General Doug Chalmers, had told him a raid using small boats to cross the Channel and navigate Dutch canals would be possible - but warned him of diplomatic repercussions. www.reuters.com/world/uk/uks-ex-pm-johnson-says-he-planned-raid-dutch-factory-get-covid-vaccines-2024-09-28/LOL, I mean, what can you say? Boris planned to attack the Netherlands! LOL brilliant, good man, what a player. He may be barking, but at least he's not boring.

What about the fact that Boris was willing to attack a NATO ally?

"Warned him of diplomatic repercussions"? What about the fact that Boris was willing to attack a NATO ally? Meh, no biggy. Military operations generally do have diplomatic repercussions. And lets not forget that in the unlikely event that the operation got the green light, we were only retrieving our own property that was being illegally withheld by the evil EU. M'lud...

Is that all you ask of a leader, though? Don't you want someone who is in control of himself who can actually lead, and improve living standards for his countrymen?

I like Boris, that doesn't mean I think he was good PM however, for all his foibles I'd sooner have Boris in number 10 than Starmer who is proving to be extremely divisive and out of his depth, dare I say incompetent. One thing is for sure, illegal immigrants, minorities, criminals, and hostile actors will be very pleased that Starmer is the PM.

Well, he inherited a lot of unresolved problems from the Tories, didn't he? Why didn't they fix these problems when they had years in which to do it? Ripley, the problems he may have inherited from the Tories pale into insignificance compared to what he has done over the past two months. The man is an absolute imbecile. He doesn't seem to understand the optics of his actions. Scrapping old age pensioners winter fuel payments then giving £11.6 billion to African countries to... 'help them cope with climate change', for example. He constantly criticised Boris for not following the rules, indeed he said Boris should resign for not following the rules, now he says he didn't know he had to declare thousands of pounds worth of free 'gifts' if they were given to his wife! Really? He wrote off £240 million when he scrapped Rwanda even though other countries are looking at the same plan, and he replaced it with... absolutely nothing. During the election campaign he constantly said he was going to 'smash the gangs', it's all we ever herd from him, yet since the election he's gone rather quiet on that, but he has allowed 4,211 illegals to cross the channel in August and 4,133 in September (So far) all of whom will be pushed to the front of the housing and NHS queues. Starmer is not a democrat, he is an increasingly unpopular authoritarian socialist, who hasn't got long left.

A missed issue here is that the EU was witholding vaccine, how evil is that, it was ours paid for, and im sure many died. The EU are culpable to murder through selfishness, why didnt we take them to court?
