It's a no win situation for drivers who unkowinly have illegals in their vehicles. If they find them and report them they are fined and if any illegals die whilst in their vehicle they are charged with either manslaughter or murder.

Yes that is the situation has been for some years, they were held responsible for not securing their vehicle properly under the Clandestine Entrant Civil Penalty Scheme.
Police have their hands tied as well, unless things have changed only Authorised Immigration Officers can arrest those entering unlawfully and detain them

IMO That has been happening for a long time, each boatload that makes it is one less boatload of problems for the French and another boatload of problems for the UK

As I’ve seen elsewhere at £3000 per individual how much does the RNLI owe?

GB News have just interviewed the woman who was find £3000 for bringing an illegal into the country from France, and it really is a joke. Lets not forget that the Border Farce escort thousands of illegals to Dover every year who are then treated as honoured guests.
This woman and her partner after arriving in England via the channel tunnel, discoverd an illegal immigrant in their van which was full of furniture. They immediately called the police who interrogated them for two hours, then fined them £3000 for illegally bringing someone into the UK.
Helloo! Is this some sort of a sick joke? I'll tell you something, this is nothing more than the authorities picking on little people. If they were knowingly bringing this illegal to the UK why the hell would they have called the police when they discovered him? It doesn't make any sense. And if they were fined £3000, I imagine the Border Farce fine must be running into £trillions by now. Wankers.

PS; the aforementioned woman who was fined £3000, at the end of the interview said if they had known they would be fined £3000 for calling the police they would have pulled over in a layby let him out and driven away. And who could blame them.

How much have this couple saved taxpayers?.. Had they let the stowaway out in a laybye and said nothing, what do you think would have happened next? How do you think he might have supported himself? I'm assuming that anyone with the means to support himself would have flown into the country instead of stowing away in a stranger's van. Do you not think he just might have become a quite long term burden to the taxpayer had he succeeded in entering the country that way?
