Sadly Sandy, it does rather look as though the presiding Judge, the CPS, and Ms.Hussain herself are probably still all aware of the racist abuse that was targeted at the white race, though maybe it's some consolation that you've spotted and possibly been offended by it, when so many others have missed out. But as you say in an earlier post, 'it was extremely offensive to white people as well and falls easily within hate speech and race laws', and given the BBC estimate there were about 300,000 at this demonstration last November, perhaps a sufficient number of White attendees can club together to bring a private prosecution ? It will pain many on the Forum to see Ms.Hussain currently escaping justice. Not sure it will as it seems to be mainly ethnic minorities who are offended by the 'coconut' slur..

It just shows that unless you create extremely simple race/religious laws that are applied across the board without fear or favour then chaotic application is the result. The whole thing seems to stem from the fact that those who opposed Powell wished to stiffen the law to remove intent as a requirement. I am not alone as Jay Jathwa who was on the receiving end of a coconut jibe in Bristol Council (where a black Councillor was found guilty of racial harassment for using it) stated quite clearly in his opinion "The word is doubly insulting as it insults both me and the white population." I do not much care for many of the race laws but if we must have them then they should be applied with some form of equity and currently, as this case proves, they are all over the shop.

This is a Euro-centric (white) conceptualisation of the meaning of law. In many parts of Africa, laws are used to attack particular tribes. There is nothing much to worry about, when the transition to African style law takes place fully, a tent will be provided for you and your family.
