Anyone watching? Lee Anderson's speech went down very well, he ripped up his BBC tv licence reminder live at the podium, the audience loved that. Farage is about to take to the stage, he always delivers a good speech.

Farage has been advised to increase his personal security, advice he has obviously taken seriously. He has just walked to the stage to commence his speech, and he was surrounded by body guards. Bloody sad, but a sign of the times.

Brilliant speech, there is no doubt that Reform UK will go from strength to strength. And Farage is right, the first big test for Reform UK will be the local elections in May next year. Reform UK's focus is Family, Community, Country. That should be enough to get the swivel eyes lefties screaming.

I think that Reform will win the next election, they will spend 5 years organising and improving and will eviscerate the Government daily. Brilliant conference, compare this the the Lib Dem numpties.

' Reform will win the next election'... That's some prediction om15, and of course I hope you're right. But with the best will in the world I cant see it. Five MP's to 300 MP's in less than five years! That would be absolutely monumental in British politcs. Nothing like that has ever happened before and I doubt it's going to happen in 2029. But the rise of Reform UK will without a doubt worry Labour and the Tories that's for sure, and as much as they will deny it, that will shape future government policy.

I think this might be the best political speech I have ever heard.

There once was another party — with a new face formed from an association with another party's dissenters — that ended its conference with the call: "Go back to your constituencies and prepare for government".
That was over 40 years ago. It did eventually get into a coalition, but was soundly beaten at the next election, and has only just clawed its way up to third-party status...

Blimey, was that 40 years ago, where does time go. And it's as funny today as it was then.

Blimey, was that 40 years ago, where does time go. And it's as funny today as it was then. I wasn’t there, but I enjoyed reading the commentary. I also enjoyed the UK’s own Trump, with Farage’s stating that his aim is to destroy the Tory party — like his transatlantic pal’s (does Trump actually remember Farage?) promise to drain the swamp. I reckon that a lot of water needs to flow under a number of bridges before either intention is fulfilled…
