One might these days look at the stats on the web and think this an up and coming place now as a part of the "media city" of Manchester.
Well I have a good story for you. It was in 2006 at the Brass Handles pub. This video is heavily "demonitorised" as it can be seen that it only has 91 views.

I had two different friends living in those tower blocks at the end of the 80s and beginning of the 90s. It never made sense to use a car to drive from south Manchester into the centre. I recall walking past a doctors surgery which looked like a high security prison, except the barbed wire was to keep people out.
