She has always struck me as smug, unsympathetic and not overly bright, but I have put a score on her because, to be honest, the rest are worse.
How about you guys ? What is your take on the matter ?

Best candidate by far - although there is not much competition.

Badenoch talks in generalisations unlike Braverman, the only problem with her is that she talks candidly, which is a strength not a weakness, talks about the here and now. Tugenhadt is the same, vague generalisations, we need the Thatcherite in your face, this is what ill do.....etc.
The reason to talk in generalisations is so that you can do the opposite when, or if you get into power.
And its on that issue, that politicians wont say how they will manage any problem, makes politics today a waste of time, that the voter is blind to what a politician is really like, and yet still has to cast a vote.
And because politicians lie, get it wrong 100 per cent of the time....because we are lied too, the opposite to what is intended, hinted at previously, like Badenoch, becomes so.
We fall for it every time.
If Badenoch is genuine, then she needs to say what she will do.

We fall for it every time. If Badenoch is genuine, then she needs to say what she will do. Not quite the speech President Xi gave to the WEF in 2017 then. That speech was about globalism and the issue of countries that use protectionism. 7 years on and pretty much all he predicted has come to pass. It takes a a lot of intelligence to be that accurate. What did not seem to be the case back then, in today's world has surprised all those that would have disagreed with him. I think it is the ultimate test of a speech, as in the test of time. The man now does not have to look like he knows what he is talking about, since the test of time has proved it. It was essentially a warning. He said those nations that use protectionism will perish. The US ignored his warning entirely as one would expect them to do. However look at the dollar today and it no longer looks as mighty as it was once believed.
The thing is there are those that cut it and those that are the pretenders. Badenoch's words are just words. Like many of our politicians, they are used loosely and can mean one thing at one time and something else a while later. I was watching Trump last night and he looked worried. He was very bolshie, but it was one driven by fear, and you could see that. He threatened anyone who stops using the dollar with 100% tariff sanctions. President Xi's warning is now rearing its head. I mean right now is the calm before the storm. The dollar hangs in a very threatened position and what will finish it off would be exactly what Trump proposes. He is defying the warning and going 180 degrees agaisnt it. Who is right will likely determine the course of the world. People like Badenoch though are not thinkers. They will never say something that there is not already a body of opinion supporting it. They are followers, not leaders. They have weak intellects and no courage.

I like Badenoch . She’s centre right and speaks her mind . I wouldn’t want a leftie Tory leader pretending to be conservative.

I was just comparing a proper leader to a place woman. That is what you have there, someone who will work for the US and control us via our latest fuckwit, just as the Israeli Jews are controlling the Starmer bot and that Mr Ali crook.

Put it this way, each time I see a global power development I think back to that 2017 speech and it makes the man look like Nostradamus. That was my point. A leader is not someone who states the bleedin obvious - that's a friggin follower of the masses. A leader is the one who correctly identifies what will happen next that shows no sign of happening right now. You get my point. That's true intelligence power, not the feeble effort of a parrot, which is what we are served up with. This is why the man has the power he does. People recognise he was right. He pointed the ship in a direction that misses the iceberg when no one but him saw it is there. (or at least that is the image seen - there might have been someone else who knew, but not in the media).

I’ve been saying that for years ( and on here regularly) . So don’t kid yourself about that . You seem to be fixated on China as the Worlds saviour and inspiration. On the basis that your CCP mates know everything and everyone else knows nothing . Thats why no one’s buying it .

On the basis that your CCP mates know everything and everyone else knows nothing . Thats why no one’s buying it . Yes but he said more than that. He put his finger on the precise problem and it is to do with protectionism in trade. He said any country who puts up protectionist barriers to global trade will destroy itself. I mean he was deadly serious, but it was not a threat. It was like the captain saying to all the ships, I've got the position of the iceberg, and sensible captains would say right your are, 30 degrees starboard and they all live to survive. The problem was some rebel captain in another ship figured he was lying. Watch this space and you might see something dramatic happen as a consequence. It might happen if Trump gets into office, but there again it will probably happen if the other ones does as well. 100 % tariffs could be suicidal.
