Labour's answer to obesity seems to be to give fatbusting injections to children. How fucking mental is that? What's wrong with old fashioned Physical Education? PE. Exercise including RUNNING. Football? Rugby? Hockey etc.
Get children OFF their arses and playing out and obesity will not be a problem.
Every kid on my street loved to eat sweets, none of us were fat. We played out every chance we could, even in winter blizzards.
And no I don't like the Tory answer of shrinking chocolate bars either.
Exercise is the answer.
Also, teach kids physical skills.
The bane of modern life is the desk job.

I was addicted to sweets 40 years ago, and skinny as a rake.
I didn't get fat until adulthood, alcohol and desk work. I am still muscular.

I was addicted to sweets 40 years ago, and skinny as a rake. I didn't get fat until adulthood, alcohol and desk work. I am still muscular. I'm also pretty thin, but I have strong muscles, especially my arms and hands. Actually they are so strong I often end up breaking things! Stuff these days is made for women and rather feeble.
I don't drink and I don't pay people to do the hard jobs, but like to do all these jobs myself. Like today I'm decorating. People don't see things like that as exercise, but it is because you are constantly moving around. It's far more natural exercise than going to some dumb-ass gym and paying a fortune.
I also consume a fair bit of sugar. I have it in my tea and I have a sweet after my dinner. I believe the reason I'm not fat is because I have always eaten meat, and not sausages, but proper meat, like last night I had a steak casserole I made myself. When you eat red meat, the stuff the lunatic medical profession says is unhealthy, it fills you up as it is high in protein and presents a perfect balance of essential nutrients to the body.
The reason kids today are unhealthy is they eat these "healthy options" which lack meat, fat, sugar and dairy products. It's a lie about being healthy. The reason they sell this shit is vegetables are very cheap in bulk. You can bulk a product out with tons of corn or similar and then add a a few chemicals to flavour it and it fools most of the people most of the time, but I'm not most people.

I started school in the early 50's food was not plentiful most of us were all built like racing snakes skinny, I can only remember one or two kids in Secondary School that were over weight. Even years later and retired I am not over weight or flabby , I am always busy doing something out and about

Eating for a modern family is a takeaway or a meal deal from Tesco. Growing up my father was a butcher, my mother worked in the mornings, cooked, did housework in the afternoons. Both now need to work to pay the bills, not cooking is baked into the system. Imagine getting home at 6 being faced with cooking.
Not on. A woman needs to be a homemaker, if you have kids. Yes i know, i can hear some hysterical abuse for saying that.
