Starmer already refuses to take questions from GB News journalists, and now it seems Farage a could be banned from hosting television news programmes as part of a supposed crackdown on parliamentarians' second jobs. The move was announced this morning by a newly convened Commons Modernisation Committee, set up by the new Labour Government, as part of a push to reform the House. www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1947691/nigel-farage-GB-News-ban-MPsThis has got absolutely nothing to do with reform or driving up standards, Starmer driving up standards lol the very thought. It has everything to do with silencing Farage and Anderson, and it wont work. Attempting to silence Farage will have the opposite effect because people don't like bullies, and Starmer is proving to be a bully. He only speaks to people who agree with him.

I don't have a problem with banning MPs from having second jobs, so long as it applies to all of them.

I don't have a problem with banning MPs from having second jobs, so long as it applies to all of them. Well yes indeed, but the point is this has got nothing to do with other MP's. Yes it will affect them, but that's irrelevant. Starmer isn't bothered about other MP's, all he's interested in is silencing Farage/Anderson and GB News.

How odd The Prime Minister DID take a question this morning from a journalist from GB News The sniveling little lying rat should take questions from anyone who asks them, because he can't answer or uncomfortable in answering is irrelevant, the public put him there and the sniveling little rat is answerable the public, even if he thinks he isn't.

Surely if Farage is banned from hosting a TV show then GB news can simply invite him on as a guest each week?...

About a sixth of the electorate voted for him through an outmoded and corrupted system.
And he lied even to those hoodwinked enough to vote for him.
Truth is, he lied his way into power and has no mandate whatsoever.

Yes absolutely, the majority of people are scratching their heads wondering how a Labour party with no clear policies or manifesto became government.
Those who aren't scratching their heads know it was because the Tories were so disastrous and the goal post have been moved in favour for Labour, the House of Old fart Lords is the next to be taken over by a lefty agenda.

He got in because of the power vaccuum left after the majority who did vote, voted the Tories out. 19.2 million of us did not vote. There's the highest apathy I can remember.
It's very clear that Labour have not learned from past mistakes and they should not take their majority for granted. The turnout was abysmal.
There's no evidence that the majority of people like them.
