Serial criminals released from prison early in order to free up cells for people who disagree with Starmer you mean? I think you may find people ' have' noticed. No (do I really have to explain this?)
Will anyone notice anything picked up from GB News?
Broadcast and print news media often quote BBC, LBC, Times Radio, even TikTok, but I can't say that I recall noting any quote from GBN...
The MSN is broadly biased in many ways. They are like a club where only approved members can play and only approved outlooks are acceptable. Some of the biggest and most experienced names in science as regards climate science are largely ignored but people are gradually finding them elsewhere and are actively searching for something different other than Chris Packham preaching doom, gloom and fire and brimstone. The same goes for GBN it is largely ostracised by the approved cartel and since it is often off message it is ignored.

I havent watched the BBC or listened to Times Radio in some years and I have never watched LBC. What I do on a daily basis is google 'news' and there you will find page after page after page of news links and my go to news links are Metro and Telegraph. I don't usually look at the GB News website because I either watch or listen to it live. Why wouldn't anyone?

Perhaps you should insert The Spectator into your news feeds — that way, you can pretend you're broadly informed while ensuring you get nothing but opinion confirming Right-wing client journalism to feed on...

When it comes to politics and current affairs I think I'm fairly well informed, I'm no expert but I am moderately well informed, and oddly enough that assertion is reaffirmed every time I discuss politics with a lefty. I've never read the Spectator, perhaps I should. I suppose it's what 'lefties' expect of a far right extremist.

You should give the Speccy a go Pat - you would broaden your horizons and by god they certainly need broadening. In this weeks magazine there is a rather good article by Matthew Parris on the political realities with regards to Property Tax.

Ooh I'll go have a read Newport Public Library have several hundred magazines on free subscription to cardholders who can have I think fifty ongoing subscriptions. They 'arrive' in an app and I read them as PDF's on my phone. I subscribe to about six such magazines including New Scientist and Popular Gardening, I also get The Spectator. I hadn't seen the popup from BorrowBox I'm very much a 'use it or lose it's guy with stuff like this. And after all it's MY council tax paying for it...

Because of my job, I'm lucky enough to have access to all UK national, and some regional and overseas news media, plus business and trade & technical periodicals. My employer also uses external media monitoring services that work to our briefing.
I don't claim to study everything, but I'm confident that I'm able to make balanced judgements about the different media, and on topics that have my attention...

Why does the mere mention of GB News inflame lefties so much?

Why GB News has its Left-leaning rivals rattled and running scared. link But a cabal of left wing politicians, broadcasters and campaigners are determined to see it fail. In spite of this, GB News reigns supreme as the UK's fastest growing news station after increasing its audience 43% in the last year, according RAJAR ratings released on 16 May 2024. You have to ask yourself a question - why do lefties want GB News closed down? Personally I think it shows that GB News are doing something right, and the state broadcaster doesn't like it.
