Well according to some with association to nazism racism and the far right,the Scots,Welsh and Irish can be proud of their roots and good luck to ‘em but no Anglo Saxons you are early Medieval English and your history must be decolonized. I am not ashamed of our history far from it we like any other country and it’s people have seen the good and bad but judging the past by todays standards is madness and trying to apologise for it utter stupidity. Anyway universities are rewriting history and they’re supposed to be educated.. link |

England is not a sovereign country and has not been since the act of union centuries ago. It is merely the most populated part of the UK, it pays the majority of our taxes but has the least representation. And the most deprivation.
The Barnett formula doesn't work.
Just look at Jaywick.
Have a public spending model based on needs.
Get rid of deprivation.

Í remember in the Eighties I was plying my trade as a computer programmer and mainly working abroad (because the pay was a lot better than in England) and mainly in Europe and the USA.
What surprised me was how friendly the "natives" were, The minute they found you were English every one wanted a chat and offered to give you guided tours etc. Holland and the USA were especially so, but in the late 70s/80s it was a great time to be English.
Things have changed though now. Ít's not just the French who hate us - they always have. Our politicians have been running down our country for so long that our reputation is shot, even in America.
