Do you have evidence to the contrary? Like See2, you appear to be rebutting this without a shred of evidence. They both accuse posters of being in a fantasy world or rightists if they can't produce evidence to the contrary, and both come across as absolute idiots. There's a well established saying - "if it's in The Daily Mail, it must be true" - its a sarcastic dig at the most dishonest newspaper available in any newsagents. Did Jess Philips really say this as reported in the Daily Mail ?, and if she did, was she telling the truth ?, or did she make it up, or was it her imagination. Can Emergency Medicine Consultants go around procedure without anyone knowing, especialy when you consider that other medical staff are always involved in these decisions. THE TRUTH when you read carefully what she said ( The Birmingham Mail ) is that she THINKS thats why she got preferential treatment, but the reality is that no doctor actually said that was why she got treated quickly. Lets repeat that line : NO DOCTOR ACTUALLY SAID THATS WHY SHE WAS TREATED QUICKLY Now I will tell you what I believe The Truth is -------------------------------------------------- When Phillips was admitted to A&E she had difficulty breathing and her lips had gone blue - potential Life Threataning Situation, and that is the obvious reason why she did not join the non-life threataning queue.

Hamas boy and Israeli boy both licking Starmer's crack and screaming the same lies that contradicts the evidence. I read the story on other outlets before Pacifico posted it, so it isn't like it isn't already covered out there.

No doctor ever said or stated that Jess Phillips MP got preferential treatment, or jumped any queue due to (A) her opinions on Gaza or (B) because of who she is.
There is no evidence that any doctor ever said anything along the lines of what is been suggested, and its fairly typical of what we have come to expect from The Daily Mail.
The story is basically not true - end of story

[Because of that] I got through quicker.' So she lied then ?

Either the doctor gets thrown under a bus for preferential treatment due to political views or Philips gets thrown under the bus for lying about it . What will happen is lefties lining up with “ yeah but , no but” arguments until the next Labour fiasco.

Imagine if this was a minister in the Tory party if they were still in government, we'd never hear the end of Big Gob Rayner and Starmer demanding resignations, front page headlines 'Two tier NHS for Tory minister', Starmer/Rayner would use this a political football and we would never hear the last of it, a Tory minister pulling rank to get preferential NHS treatment.

Do posters not understand ?
Look at the precise words which Jess Phillips spoke "'He was sort of like, "I like you. You voted for a ceasefire"
She did not say that the doctor stated thats why she got treated quickly, she is clearly saying that it was HER IMPRESSION that that was why she got treated quickly.
And I think that Jess Phillips got the wrong impression, its not possible to tell if she was lying or not, how do you tell if someone is telling the truth if they state that they got the impression. ?

So are you saying that she's lying or that she's not? The most important point is that no doctor said that she was treated quicker because of her views on Palestine or Gaza. She is either lying OR not lying about whether she got the impression that thats why she was treated quickly, but I dont know the answer, the only person who does know the answer is Jess Phillips.

Or they did and she is not . If the doctor noted her political views and made a point of mentioning them and immediately after that her treatment was faster , Thats clear evidence to support her own claim that her treatment was better due to her political views . Don’t be dense

I mean, why is it difficult to understand ?
