As of a few minutes ago the number of illegals who have crossed the channel from the 'safe' EU to England, has passed 7,000 since Labour came to power on 24th July. And they will all be granted asylum/refugee status because they're fleeing war torn France, placed in a hotel for a couple of years while their claim is processed then pushed to the front on the housing queue and handed lots of lovely benefits. Smash the gangs my arse, Starmer is a charlatan.

If it were possible to 'smash the gangs' then we wouldn't have a drug problem in this country and the Mafia would have been shut down decades ago..

As soon as these International Organised Gangs are taken out of the equation arrested and banged up they are simply replaced by others , they see being arrested as an occupational hazard.

Just listened to a debate on GB News in which the true cost of asylum/immigration was discussed, and the true costs are staggering. The Home Office has repeatedly over spent its £110m annual budget for asylum and border operations, averaging an estimated £2.6bn a year, according to a fiscal watchdog the IFS - link If a business with a £110m budget, overspent to the tune of £2.6bn, repeatedly, it would go bust and the directors would probably be in prison. But hey, left wing civil servants aren't spending their money, they're spending truckloads of our money. So why would they care. And don't forget, the above fig of £2.6bn a year is for 'border operations' only. It is in addition to the £15 million a day (£5.5 bn a year) hotel bill, plus god knows how many other asylum/immigration expenses we don't know about. We are being royally fucked over.

Not just us, Spain got over 55k and many went to the Canaries. Bancroft, Spain has been invaded, it has a population of c47 million of which 7 million are immigrants. That's the official fig, who knows what the actual fig might be. And it's their own fault, how many illegal immigrant amnesties have they had? 5 or 6? Offering endless amnesties is obviously not the way to deter illegal immigration, and being governed from Belgium doesn't help.

The Italian's are not happy bunnies either more and more arriving across the Med, many of the Irish are not happy either

And it's going to get a whole lot worse. Starmer has already repealed the Tories' law that people who come here "irregularly" are barred from asylum. They're still eligible for asylum now.
Also Starmer's cosying up to Germany and France to get a "better deal" is likely to be met with a demand from these countries to allow free movement for under 30s. So why should Germany and France want free movement for under 30s? It's not so that highly educated Germans and French can come here - they already can come here anyway. No, it's to be able to offload large numbers of undesirables, like Turks, Algerians and eastern European criminals. They'll also demand that we take our "quota" of illegals.
It's incredible how quickly Starmer's plans to destroy this country have become clear.
The thing is that we actually didn't get such a bad deal out of the EU in the end. We have free trade without quotas which is all we ever wanted when we joined the Common Market all those years ago. All that's lacking is "goodwill". The EU are deliberately slowing down some of our exports by demanding paper documentation and then turning back any shipment that has any nitpicking errors (like page numbers).
