Starmer can always try and align himself with Islamists to survive. After all, Hamas support is high in his party and I'm sure Corbyn will kneel for him.

The veteran's turning their backs on Starmer
If I was at the cenotaph I would support it.

In the event of Starmer pushing through the legislation to remove the fuel allowance the national newspapers could devote a page or two to daily reports about the suffering it is causing. I'm thinking of contacting newspapers that are "not happy" with our Labour government and suggesting it to them.
The last time there was a major fuss about how much us "oldies" were costing the country was back during John Major's government. The Evening Standard said at the time: "The country can't afford to support both the elderly and the youth ... a choice has to be made."
... and this was at a time when NHS treatment for people over 69 was severely restricted.
Is Starmer some sort of "Right-wing" pseudo-socialist throwing his weight around?
Starmer's wife is Jewish. There is a Jewish proverb: "Do not compare those who have bread in their baskets with those who have none" ... when reworded to apply to the issue in question it is : "Do not treat those who cannot afford their heating the same as those who can".
