Labour unveils plan for hated 20mph speed limits and what it means for drivers
Labour's ideas around 20mph speed restrictions have been unveiled with the new hard left socialist Government prepared to let more schemes pop-up across the UK. Labour may have given its strongest hint yet over the future of 20mph speed limits in the UK with drivers across the country likely to be impacted by new rules.
New transport minister Louise Haigh has suggested traffic limits should be “entirely up for local areas to decide” with a laid-back approach to councils introducing restrictions. Haigh admitted that councils who want to introduce 20mph limits will have her “support”.
