The things that got the Tories booted are still in full swing, nothing has changed. Yesterday more effluent was pumped into the Thames, i think it was the Thames. The boats come. Quotas for legal immigration has not changed. Lies pour forth. Taxes are up, not down, the Tories before being booted were going to lower taxes.
Law and order is a joke. People are gagged and imprisoned for having a say. Being british is second. We are rejoining the EU in all but name. Do as your told or else. Will it change when parliament reconvenes, no. The invasion will now reach every corner of Britain.
And you voted for this.
The answer to the question is nothing.....its worse.

The next key moments ahead are (1) The Conferences, and (2) The first Labour budget in 14 year which is coming in October, and (3) The Conservative leadership result.
Will we see new pledges or policies or new announcements in conference season ?
You can be assured for certain that the government is going to raise revenue at The Budget in order to repair the NHS and help to kick start growth.
Will the Tories move back to the true Centre Right or continue on the road to Right Wing Populism, with culture wars playing equally as bigger role as REAL politics. ?

New Labour pretty much followed Tory policies for their first year in office, then we saw the major changes in policies. Why do you expect Starmer to work miracles overnight? I'm totally bemused by the fact that you thought they could repair the country in 2 or 3 weeks of parliament. I don't know whether they can fix things or not, I've seen some things good and some things bad, but after 14 years of the Tories, I think realistically 2 parliaments will be required to effect change. |

I don't know whether they can fix things or not, I've seen some things good and some things bad, but after 14 years of the Tories, I think realistically 2 parliaments will be required to effect change.It will effect change alright, it will reduce the pension population, most of them will have froze or starved to death in the winters, with the nasty Labour party punishing them. |

Nothing in that putting the majority of this country first and never will as long as the establishment is in control. They follow a pattern they have milked every nation dry in their conquests for more wealth and have done exactly the same to the residents of the UK except they have nobody left they can blame but themselves this time and nowhere and nobody else they can hide behind. The biggest laugh is in every country their policies have caused riots they have taken exactly the same measures. Until eventually they have been kicked out of everywhere they go.
