...grind pretty quickly when prodded. We are told there are thousands of cases waiting to be tried and there is no room in the jails. But "rioters" can be tried and sentenced to incarceration within days. Funny that.

Proves the court system can work when it suits.

Why isn't the FULL FORCE OF THE LAW ... that's repeated by Starmer over and over and over again applied to ALL law breakers, who's he to decide what crime is fast tracked through the court system, when sex offenders, rapers, robbers, muggers, burglars, pedophiles are taking years to get to court. Wave a union jack or puff your chest out to copper and you get a instant 2 years.

This made me laugh at Liverpool last night the anti-far right mob turned up
There's more in a Wetherspoons on a Friday night.

The suspect was arrested and charged the same day but she (like thousands of others) is still waiting for the matter to come to court.
And now some knuckle-draggers take the piss out of the government and they're in prison within days.
But there's no Two-Tier system.
Bullshit.

The way the police behaved towards the the white English protesters was more or less a glass case example of the way policing should work. (with some peculiar exceptions that look worryingly like political intimidation tactics) However, it represents such a gigantic and sudden deviation from their usual form, you have to ask questions about where they have been hiding their light. If the police and justice system start doing their job properly from now i shall be their loudest backer. I'm not holding my breath on that though - i expect the slide towards indulging disorder and violence to continue, except in the special case of white people with union jacks.

It's funny how the so-called far Right can be arrested, charged, tried and jailed in a matter of days, but when it comes to a couple of muslims beating up female police officers (causing actual bodily harm) it suddenly becomes "very complex". Judging by the sentences given to the "far Right" protestors I'd say they should get at least 10 years, but it looks like nothing is going happen.

One of these cases involved guilty please. Easy to then sentence them. I'm sure the other involved denials and explanations and counter claims which need to be investigated. It's not easy and could well be complex. Let's see what happens when they surrender to bail at the police station.

To me this strongly suggests that the UK government is deliberately indulging lawlessness and disorder as a tactic Absolutely and over successive governments. Politicians have endlessly denigrated the police (racist, corrupt, brutal) for decades to the point that they can now barely do their jobs.
They've been the whipping boy for all of the ills in society because it's easier to blame the police than face the issues.
And now those same politicians have the cheek to complain that people have lost respect for the police.
It's a double irony that the shithead spouting on this occasion is none other than Yvette Cooper - who wasted absolutely no time blaming the police for the Manchester Airport incident before any of the facts were known.
Perhaps Ms Cooper needs to learn some respect before demanding it of others.

Its an old tactic used by tyranny. Selective law enforcement essentially means the preferred mobs are being employed by the government

Its an old tactic used by tyranny. Selective law enforcement essentially means the preferred mobs are being employed by the government History reminds us what happens when that tactic is used ... just ask our nearest European neighbour
French Revolution
In the late 18th century France was on the brink of bankruptcy due to its involvement in the American Revolution and King Louis XVI's extravagant spending. This led to a people's revolt against the inequalities of French society, the corruption of royal officials, and despair owing to widespread economic hardship.
