He also said they are young idiots. He is right though one has to ask the question of them why and that seems as far from anyone's mind as possible. There is no wish to engage, there is no wish to ask why there is only we shall knock this on the head. That is not the normal way things are done we are asked to understand children who carry knives by several erudite people as a means to tackling knife crime. Young people feel abandoned, alienated, excluded yet not so in this case. The Government has made their mind up who and what they are and will brook no discussion on that. Lefties often have to engage in what they actually preach. |

All Im looking for is a level playing field .For sure if you go out on the streets fight the police ,incite violence and smash stuff up you deserve to have your liberty removed .Thats got to go for everyone ,no exceptions . Hate preachers , BLM rioters , Romani bus burners ,pro Palestine from the river banner carriers ,Manchester airport thugs form an orderly queue please ,you're nicked . I completely agree, Lee Anderson doesn't apparently. To be fair he probably does .He is first and foremost though seeking a solution to why the riots are taking place and for Starmer to listen to the concerns ,like two tier policing . The Asian guy seems on the same page as well which is refreshing . |

I did not actually say that what I did say is talking to offenders is a common technique and finding out why is touted as good practice by many in the criminal justice sphere. Are you saying it is not good practice to understand criminal behaviour? |

I did not actually say that what I did say is talking to offenders is a common technique and finding out why is touted as good practice by many in the criminal justice sphere. Are you saying it is not good practice to understand criminal behaviour? I'm all for rehabilitation, I've personally known people who have successfully come out the other side and are now making a positive contribution to society. But only after they've done their time. Are you saying it's not good practice to lock up violent criminals? |

The impression I get is that if Lee Anderson had said Donald Duck and the Tooth Fairy were responsible for the riots there would be certain posters on here enthusiasticly agreeing with him.

Anybody rioting or attacking the police as a mob jail and if a baton bash too the tough,,tbh they need water cannon and if really bad baton rounds,order needs to be restored and real dialogue. |
