The kings fund seems to work hand in hand with the NHS . I doubt that their ‘ studies’ would say anything else . They picked cararacts did they ? I met a couple of members of the King's Fund whilst on holiday a couple of years ago - both were ex NHS senior administrators and both were raving lefties What? You mean a study carried out by the cronies of senior administrators found that there weren't too many senior administrators? Well colour me surprised. 🤣

on the wealthiest to invest in the NHS and public services? My automatic response to such a question would be like fuck I would. The NHS is a bottomless pit of financial incompetence and Guardian inspired entitlement and unless the money is going to be invested in student nurses in black stockings, the country should fall back on bed rest, aspirins, brandy and self pity Still, other folk might think differently, so what is your take on the matter ? The wealthiest already pay higher taxes than the rest of us. Personally I laugh at anybody that says they want better services, then points to somebody else to fund it. The problem with the NHS is we are a nation of unhealthy fuckers. It is only going to get worse, just wait till all these slobs who never get off the sofa and live off delivered takeaways hit their 40s/50s.
