In August 2023 in an article for the Guardian Reeves categorically ruled out a wealth tax. In May 2024 during an interview with Christopher Hope for GB News at Rolls Royce, Reeves again categorically ruled out a wealth tax, and she was quite firm on this. She said all Labours plans are fully costed so there would be no need for a wealth tax. Last night during an interview on LBC she refused to rule out imposing a wealth tax in the October budget. Rachel Reeves is a liar.

As recently as May, Starmer at the despatch box demanded of then Prime Minister Sunak that he rule out scrapping pensioners winter fuel payments.
Now Prime Minister, Starmer and his Labour government have done exactly what just three months ago he demanded the Tories should not do.
Reeves has a lot in common with Starmer. They're both liars.

When the middle aged people who have paid taxes and full NI see how the Labour government have shafted them ,they will be looking to vote elsewhere . This money grab from the pensioners ( and it won’t stop at snatching heat allowance) will be a huge own goal . The labour leaders are too drunk on power to see it .

Disabled people are back “in the firing line” on spending cuts, activists have warned, following a trio of decisions announced by Labour’s new chancellor, Rachel Reeves, this week. Reeves told MPs on Monday that there would be cuts to social care and winter fuel payment to address what she described as a “£22 billion hole in the public finances” left by the previous government. But among a series of other measures, she also appeared to suggest that cuts to benefits would be announced later in the year. Reeves (pictured) told MPs that it would “not be possible” to take forward reforms to adult social care charging that were repeatedly delayed by successive Conservative governments. She said that “welfare spending ballooned” under the last government, while “inactivity has risen sharply in recent years”. She told MPs: “We will ensure that the welfare system is focused on supporting people into employment, and we will assess the unacceptable levels of fraud and error in our welfare system and take forward action to bring that down.” www.disabilitynewsservice.com/disabled-people-back-in-the-firing-line-on-cuts-after-hostile-reeves-statement/lol.

Rachel Reeves is, of course, a liar. She will join the long list of history's liars, also known as politicians.

The problem I see is welfare works if claiments are honest but the temptation is free money. Unfortunately fraudulent claims spoil it for those in need and all go under scrutiny. Too many jumped onto the ill health band wagon. Do you think the nation has gone quite lazy after the COVID lockdowns?

We did not hear that bastard say, well folks, if I get elected I'm going to go after the Far Right boogie man. I think that's what he plans on doing. He's promised his Jewish friends of Israel all that.
Our new imported murderers need more police protection.

Well I was getting ‘ due to COVID ‘ excuses for poor service up to a year after it stopped. So maybe .

Jeremy Hunt said before the election that tax cuts were possible, that the balance of payments had improved. Tax cuts means more money in everyones pocket, to buy more stuff, everything improves.
Labour will now soak everyone for as much as they can, like Clarkson and others have said, spend on all sorts of dung, wokery counsellors, trans, etc.
The establishment are quite bonkers, we need a Clakson in charge, the country will turn around in a second.
The problem isnt global recession, war, etc, its the effing idiots in charge, and i include the Tories, especially them. They were our only hope.
