Government has agreed to increase the subsidy for wind power - now £2 Billion will be added to peoples energy bills every year. These lower bills that they promised are looking further and further away.

Not so "Great British Energy". That's another rollback, isn't it? They say it will take 5 years to set up? By then Labour will be dust.

I think the lie that wind power would ever be cheaper than fossil fuels was exposed when the govt tried to auction off some contracts for off-shore wind power at rates slightly below the rates for non-renewables. Absolutely nobody made a single bid.

I listened to someone on GB News who said Shell is quietly turning it's back on the green energy revolution and is looking to offload it's stake in UK offshore wind projects.
Worrying signs for Starmers green revolution, or to be more accurate, worrying signs for the UK consumer.
