Suella Braverman received the required ten nominations to stand for party leader, but has chosen not to stand. She says current Tory MP's do not understand that voters [Conservative voters] lost faith not least all because of immigration and gender ideology.
That is the reason the Tory party refuse to allow party members to vote for party leader. They know damned well Suella would be a shoo in.

Tipped off that Kemi would be entering the race the next day I assume. A generous gesture from Suella to put Party and Nation before self.

Suella would definitely fit in with Reform.

Still no sign of Boris throwing his hat in the ring.
Badenoch is smug and stupid so will appeal to the Tory MPs, but I am not so sure that will work with the grassroots or the country at large.
Dunno about Reform. Farage looks like a sweaty little spiv trying to sell some fake Rolexs, but there is not a lot else on offer, so I will probably bite the bullet and chose the lesser of all the weevils

Still no sign of Boris throwing his hat in the ring. He didn't stand in the election, so is not currently a member of the House of Commons. But even if he was, as he was the cause of much of what went wrong for the Tories, is he really the answer to the question?

Also, I suspect that Boris might be just waiting for the dust to settle before trying his luck

So unless he is going to sit in a by election, he's not even eligible. commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/sn01366/

Starmer got fewer votes at his best than Corbyn at his worst. The only reason he got a majority was that the Tory vote was so strongly split by reform.

Seems Starmers only 'core value' is saying anything to get elected.
