Some people have advocated that the suspect who was stamped on got of lightly, and could have expected to have been shot in the head. I have it on what I consider pretty good authority that when an officer is armed and is afraid that it may be removed from his/her control and their hands are otherwise engaged I.e. holding taser cuffs etc they are entitled to use their feet in order keep control
This of course may well be tested in this case.
Having read through this thread attempts are being made to justify the actions of the half wits who were attacking the police last night imo they have no justification whatsoever it’s irrelevant that they’re angry at the end of their tether or whatever they are no better nor different to those at the airport and those who threatened riot if they didn’t get their way in Rochdale.
