This looks on the surface similar to the Lee Rigby case.
Now I have read the suspect is fit to face trial which suggests he is mentally competent so if not terrorism how or why was the target selected?

The silence of the fiddles is noted. I'll take that as a "Yes" then, fiddles. I have nothing more to add, because my last post summed up the situation The man in question was laid on the ground He had been tasered He was surrounded by armed police officers One of the officers decided to kick the man repeatedly in the head YOU CANNOT DEFEND THIS - IT IS NOT DEFENDABLE AT ALL The officers who looked on should have stopped the THUG police officer, but they did nothing The officer is now suspended from duty and will hopefully lose his job Is doofus also a member of the Chicken Cottage Crew? Or just another idiot racist? I think we should be told.

What about buba who stabbed a British soldier? Same has but he won't have the protection of the law behind him . Just the 'mental health' card instead.

Imagine for a moment the reaction from the media the police and indeed the government, if the victim in this case had been black and the attacker white.
It would be a totally different case. It would definately be reported as a racist attack, probably a far right racist attack. BLM would be demonstrating, Labour MP's would be queuing up to condemn the attacker and a senior police officer would be wheeled out to visit community leaders in an attempt to 'ease tensions'.
However, the victim was white, so none of the above applies.

The mainstream media have a lot to answer for this civil unrest, constantly ramming that picture and stirring up racial tensions without the FULL FACTS, is absolutely irresponsible, and reckless. Had this been a black cop attacking a white suspect it wouldn't even have hit the headlines, I hope the police bring the media to task by encouraging civil unrest, the law of the land people including police officers are innocent until proven guilty, the police officer is now guilty by trial by media. Disgusting behaviour from the press.

And for the record, he showed great restraint in my honest opinion. All officers involved including the officers who were assaulted wore bodycams and an airport is full of CCTV, so there's plenty of evidence to show who the aggressors were. Why havent the police released it to the media?

Why havent the police released it to the media? It's a question often asked by police officers themselves. The reason is that the police are gathering evidence for trial and they can't be seen to do anything that may prejudice any subsequent trial. You see, while the YouTube axe-grinders and race-grifters can punt out selective bits of footage, showing one side of the story, the police can't risk even being accused of doing the same. The police want convictions, they are not playing the game of trial by media and nor should they be drawn into it.

Absolutely, especially now we've seen the gangster lawyer representing them, who calling it a attempted assassination ... the daft cunt.
He must have one of those Mickey Mouse law degrees that you buy online, he needs some serious looking into.

Yes I considered that, but in all honesty the police seem to have accepted that they have lost the PR battle. I've listened to a few pro cop commentators yesterday and today who asked; why have the police gone on 'radio silence'. The official response to hundreds of screaming chavs outside Rochdale police station and Burnham's office seems to be - ignore them hopefully they'll go away. A response that seems to be having the opposite effect.
