I must admit I do like spending some money on quality clothes as it is my non-conformist nature to go agaisnt the modern trend of dressing like a tramp. With this in mind I had a walk into town today in an absolutely beautifully warm sunny afternoon, hence town was pretty busy, and like we get quite a few tourists speaking foreign languages, notably we seem to get quite a few Italians, known for their impeccable dress sense.
This was my first encounter, and yet it got me thinking about two young British people who I came across after that. The first was a woman of about 20 or so and she was wearing these modern fashion trousers, but I could not help noticing that the style was fashioned on the kind of work clothes a tradesman would typically wear if he were up a ladder with paint brushes or similar. They were not the real thing, but a kind of fashion type thing which was modelled on that style, but for a woman? The modern fashion seems to have encoded in it what modern scholars call "gender fluidity", simply put, making girls look like boys and vice versa.
Anyway, directly after seeing this woman I was following behind on the pavement, I popped into a health food shop and there was a young man, also 20 or so years old. This really flipped my brain out. As I looked at the counter I could see these hands that appeared to belong to a woman, since they had black nail varnish on them, but when I looked up it was a man. I had to take a second look as I figured my mind was playing tricks on me.
So there you go, two consecutive experiences of British boys being girls and British girls being being boys. I then wondered if all the young people are so affected, but as I approached home, we have a kind of Christian quarter to our town where the Christians live. There on the pavement in front of me was another young girl of about 20 or so wearing an ankle length pure white dress. She looked something of an angel. I guess another rebel like myself - cool!

If you were a true non conformist, or rebel, then you would dress like that. Your rebelliousness is not that, that in Russia you would be in with the herd, a conformist. Your non conformism here, your support of Russia, like myself, would most likely be regarded with shock, and a thought along the lines of whats wrong with you.
As for clothes, in my minds eye i see you dressed in baggy clothes, red and blue, a painted face, with a cap and a flower sticking out the top. You have a rounded, plastic nose.
As for the Italians its true how stylish they are, im half italian but i cant do it. In the programme Gomorrah, genna and ciro do it effortlessly. I had a cousin, Paolo, dark glasses, ten chains round his neck, cigarette pack folded into his t shirt at the top on the outside on the shoulder, sports car.
He was a hippy in Venice for a while, what would that have been like. Im too english, conservative, mind you i had a solid gold chain and crucifix round my neck for a while.

I never wear any kind of jewellery. I think men that do are actually women. Another thing is I avoid any clothes with logos on them. It's so cheap. I like simple quality, as in the British understated look. I'm quite a fan of Italian clothes in fact.
