A persistent cough Body aches Hypersensitivity to sounds during the night Food tastes "odd" Psychotic hypochondria ... believing that something other than Covid is responsible.
One of my housemates has the above symptoms.
He saw a spider in the kitchen sink. There was a Sky News article about a False Widow from the Canaries that is "230 rimes more venomous than our native species". Now he's getting up in the middle of the night and hoovering his room ... he's done this for the last three nights.
Council Pest Control info:
"False widows can live in relative harmony with us. They can help to keep the house clear of flying insects and other pests. If you find an unwanted spider in your house, please don't kill it. Either leave it in peace or humanely put it out in your shed".

He's also experiencing Pulsatile tinnitus ... a "thumping sound" in his ears ... which gets louder when he presses his ear against the wall.
He woke me up at 3 am and accused me of "banging the wall". When I said I wasn't he called me a liar and adopted a "threatening" manner.
I can hear him coughing. His cough is not a "clearing the chest" cough.

Don't watch the Shining movie you might get ideas.
It might be COV-ID or something else, insect bites can cause a number of symptoms.
Is it fair to say he is not a wealthy person?
