Largest rise in immigration since records began (1949) - and people complain that house prices are high...
Immigration fuelled the biggest rise in the population of England and Wales for at least 75 years, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) revealed on Monday.
The population rose by almost 610,000 to 60.9 million between mid-2022 and the middle of last year – the biggest increase since 1949, when comparable records began.
The ONS said the growth was largely down to record levels of net migration, which stood at 622,000 for the year to mid-2023.

The actual population is over 70 million. The Census figures are just a baseline.

The thing is did you vote for any of it, I don't think so as you were never asked if it was OK to do so.

The thing is did you vote for any of it, I don't think so as you were never asked if it was OK to do so. I think it is worse than that; people were specifically led to believe that the policies they voted for would result in a different outcome, that immigration was to be completely controlled, that chain migration would cease, that only those desperately needed would be allowed to come here, that our borders would stiffen, that British people would always come first for jobs, housing and benefits. To my recall those have been typical policies of all winning and second placed parties for at least 60 years. They were largely followed until 97 and then Blair kept his promise to change Britain forever, he did not specify exactly how that change would occur, although once again policies as regards immigration control were to the forefront certainly in the 21st century elections

Almost like you have constantly voted in people who don't like you or have any respect for your wishes have no contact only at election time and have no intention of following what they tell you and have a completely different agenda than they might be saying. Strange but true.

I think Starmer needs to adjust those house building targets lol.
Just wait till Starmer surrenders to the EU and allows millions of EU nationals to flood into the country again.
