www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/czq6g01lggnoLook, just because I parked 50 yards from where the Clifton Mad Axe Murderer dumped his victim and then parked 100.yards from where a Newport drug pusher was beaten and stabbed to death and then parked 100 yards from where they were dumping his body while I went for an interview for a job designing the drug testing lab's hardware doesn't make me a bad person Clearly the Clifton suspension bridge is a dodgy place popular with mad axe murderers. Mind you, it was the focus of a few killings in the 80's of a most dodgy nature .....

Not sure why he left them on the bridge - surely it would have made more sense to toss them over the side into the river?

Police have released an image of a suspect on the loose after human remains were found in two suitcases left by Clifton Suspension Bridge.
In a press conference, detectives from Avon and Somerset Police said the suspect was taken to the bridge by a taxi, and that the taxi driver is working with officers investigating the discovery. The vehicle has also been seized.
The suspect is described as black with a beard, wearing a black Adidas baseball cap, black jeans, a black jacket and black trainers with thick white soles. He also had a black backpack and was wearing a gold earring.

Those wires are high stress and not visible from street view reconnaissance so unless he physically went there to recon his disposal site .... I think he got there hefted the first case with half a victim and said ... Bugger

Sorry but he is going to stand out in the high street like a lump of rotting meat and flies will gather on him like a cow pat.

Not sure why he left them on the bridge - surely it would have made more sense to toss them over the side into the river? Possibly too heavy to lift.

Sorry but he is going to stand out in the high street like a lump of rotting meat and flies will gather on him like a cow pat. It IMHO is best not to assume anything , my best guess he dismembered the corpse which means all or most of the bodily fluids would have drained away placed the body parts in plastic bags which may have taken place some time after death, and changed clothes disposed of as much evidence as possible. It may take the Police sometime to A Identify the suspect, and B find the crime scene PS According to the Mail today " The force Avon &Somerset has now confirmed a senior officer has been in contact with the family of missing graduate Jack O'Sullivan 'to inform them of the incident' as they continue their search for the suspect. Jack has not been seen since he went to a house party in Bristol on March 2 and his family are continuing to plead for information about his whereabouts. " They did not say the body was him

When I was squatting in Bristol I met a woman who told me she was on her way to jump off the bridge ... I just happened to be tripping on acid at the time. At the bridge she looked down at the water below ... and said to me:"You go first". I used to take a lot of acid ... on several occasions I ended the trip in the company of a distressed female.

I see this chap the police were looking for has been arrested at Bristol Temple Meads. Over the past few days I've listened to two or three reports about him on various TV/radio programmes, and not once was it mentioned in any of the reports I listened to that the suspect was black. A description was given - about 5'10" last seen wearing dark clothing and baseball cap, but the most obvious detail of all, the fact that he's black, was not mentioned. Why? Rhetorical question of course, everyone is very aware that these days to even utter the 'B' word renders you liable to a volley of politically correct abuse from outraged lefties.
And before any of the aforementioned outraged lefties mentions it - I am aware a picture of the suspect was eventually issued, but a picture isn't much good if you're listening to the radio. Why not simply mention skin colour in the description, yes yes I know, political correctness. I cant help wondering whether, had the suspect had been white, would the police and media have been so reluctant to mention it?
