Starmer has said he will do this. And as always, all politicians do it, set himself up for failure. Looking at it in reverse, Labour politicians then have put party before country then?
Of course, Labour pay lip service to democracy, they know how to run the country, they only need to look at the scribblings of Marx and Lenin, a sure sign of despotism, and a stupidity that shakes me to the core. The Conservatives are guilty, that a cabal of personages, my guess, Hunt, Gove, Sunak, etc, ripped up pre eelection manifestos to do their own thing.
And look at what happened then. A landslide.
Putting the country before party has gone unnoticed, but is at the centre. The country wants all the things they voted the Tories out for, end illegal immigration, fix the NHS, lower taxes, etc. Stay out of the EU.
Will Labour do that?
Of course not. Ive just seen interviews with people in Bury lancs expressing optimism opver Labour, they have partaken of some magical juice somewhere, theyt dont get how effed up the country is. We are bankrupt. To expect Labour to be financially adult is beyond a joke, they will be like kids in a sweet shop able to take whatever they want.
Starmer is set for serious trouble, my intuition tells me he is basicallky a good man, and only lies in extremis, or changes his mind. He has expressed far left ideas, so he may have fooled me, who knows. War is about to erupt in the houses of parliament.
That those who voted tory, then voted labour expecting something different are in for a big shock. With 400 odd mps, Starmers biggest threat will come from within., from the tired old left, the Corbyns, Lammys......the communist beast never dies.
