Doesn't bode well at all.

Wasn't voting down overall? If so, breaking through the apathy, or dislike of all politicians, to end up with a large majority looks like Labour's got a fighting chance of setting the county right...

Full turnout isn't yet known.

About 31% of the electorate voted for Starmer, believe me posters Labour didn't win this election, the Tories lost it. People didn't vote Labour because they have any love for Labour or even like Labour, they voted Labour because for the last couple of years the centrist pro EU Tories have been crap. It's that simple.
But as I keep saying, nothing will promote a proper centre right Conservative government more than five years of pro EU, pro immigration, pro net zero Labour.

The turnout was the worst it has been for i think 75 years I saw figures of barely more than 55% which mesns barely 1 in 5 voted labour. They won because the rest were so divided

They won because the rest were so divided I suspect the main feeling among voters was ABC — anyone but Conservative — and the smaller Green, LibDem and Reform parties probably benefited from protest voting.
The low turnout could mean that either many people believed the opinion polls and thought their votes wouldn't count, or that they were so disillusioned with all political parties they just didn't bother...

I think that is, in large measure, and accurate assessment. It is clear the Tory vote plummeted in line with the turnout, but the large number of Reform second places when compared to 2019 or back beyond that suggests a direct transfer of support. Will Farage succeed in becoming the exterminator ?
