Congestion Charge is what it says it is — a charge for causing congestion. The £10 a year exemption for low-polluting vehicles was a nice bonus while it lasted. But as the national zero VED for low polluting vehicle was scheduled to end in 2025, it’s no surprise the CC exemption is also ending...

Ulez is a good policy and it was quite right to extend it so the outer boroughs could benefit from not being forced to breathe harmful pollution.
