Well quite. She's either a plant or an idiot. West Ham and Beckton is a staunch Labour area. The Tories are probably not going to win there and neither are Reform. Hence jumping from one party that aren't going to win to another is a pointless exercise. And these smears have been going around for quite a while, so she should have known long since, which makes the timing all the more suspect. So the logical conclusion is that either Ms David walks around with her head up her arse or this was pre-planned. Tbh, I doubt Reform will take this very seriously. It doesn't seem to getting much attention in the media. I've just been reading what she said again, and she said, quote "the vast majority of Reform candidates are racist bigoted misogynists". That's one hell of an accusation. I suspect if Tice wasn't busy with an election he may have considered legal action. |

But UKIP had a single issue focus, and one that chimed with the political zeitgeist of the time. I knew, at the time, only 2 people out of about 140 or so that I regularly spoke to who wanted to remain in the EU. Reform UK are not the same. I know of no one who wants us out of the ECHR - even those, like me, who want far tougher controls on immigration. I also think that Farage's "brand" is somewhat diminished. It was clear, up until Sunak announced the GE date, that Farage was more interested in playing lapdog to Trump to keep himself in the media spotlight than he was in committing to the UK. He'd even stated that he simply would not run as long as we had FPTP. Then he flip-flopped because he saw a chance to have a slightly larger share of the limelight in the UK than he would get in the US, even if the US audience was way bigger - because I am willing to be 50% of Americans have no clue who Farage is, and the majority of those who do don't give a daman about him at all. There's far bigger Post-Truth Alt-Right figures in the US to attract those who may find comfort in some of Farage's rhetoric. So he chose to stand in the UK, then he's been very careful about keeping Reform in the news spotlight. If anyone planted the racists and misogynists on his candidate list it was likely Farage himself. Then he report Channel 4 to the Election Watchdog just for reporting something about Reform UK. It is a very carefully managed smoke and mirrors show. At their peak UKIP managed to get one MP (from memory) elected. Even if Reform UK got 10 times that they would still have way less political influence than UKIP ever had. All of this is just my opinion of course. All The Best |

Not the sort of language any candidate should be using but Ive heard worse at hustings . The reference to the WEF puppets are sound judgement ,sounds like he has a crush on Harry Potter and lets himself down with the Wests and the Royal Family . The guy is all over the place politically and sounds like a bit of a weirdo after some attention . Having said that he was probably the best Reform could find in the Shetlands ,he doesn't even know how to dress himself never mind buy a decent jacket .
