The Tories have gone red obviously to get more votes, those of the lib dems and Labour, but it has failed miserably, there is no sign of that happening at all.
Watta mistaka to maka.
If it was the case, you would think the tories would have a landslide in their favour. So looking at the electorate, it seems society is more left and right than anyone imagined, that the tories targeting the centre ground shows that the centre, hardly exists at all.
And have rejected core beliefs not because they are wrong, but to win an election, and have ditched a winning formula and replaced it with nonsense.
Cameron and Osbourne have serious charges to answer, that of being dumb. Cameron, this highly regarded politician has got everything wrong all the time, what a disaster. The tories also show that britain is right wing, and always will be, and reform will show how god awful tired we are of the cancerous left.

The tories also show that britain is right wing, and always will be, Is it? It doesn't appear to be. Even adding Tories and Reform together would only represent a minority.

Surely, Britain when voting has always hovered around the centre, admittedly more centre Right than to the Left…

What would be considered centre right nowadays would be considered a mix of left wing counter culture and Monster raving looney party before the 70s . Before that the average voter would have been seen as so right wing that todays lefties would be seriously triggered by encountering them .

Scotland's Tony Blair wanted to flood England with Muslims and Catholics to change the demographics of the country. England used to be majority Anglican (protestant reformed and somewhat benign religion) and Conservative. This is why England was such a nice country on the most part.

It was a ( comparatively) tolerant country . Too tolerant for its own good ….was..
