Did that person (who you don’t want to mention but keep on about) actually say that the 1000+ plus people who died were scum or did he say it in the same way that Angela ( two houses) Rayner called Tories scum? Well if you dont know the difference between calling people who are alive scum and them that die a tragic death . Shame on you. I suppose one of the considerations we should take on board is that if someone dies and they are called scum and the left hold parties and sing and dance in the streets to celebrate that death then it does seem rather bland to call anyone that dies scum. But then we are dealing with lefty sensitivities and that sensitivity is a transient and directed thing. |

Labour’s deputy leader Angela Rayner has “unreservedly” apologised for remarks at the party’s annual conference when she described Conservatives as “scum”.Ms Rayner said she had “reflected” on the tone of political debate in the wake of the murder of Conservative MP Sir David Amess and would no longer use such language. |

I havent read all the posts, but to reply to the first, illegal immigrants should be arrested the moment they land on a british beach, incarcerated, then deported. They are criminals.
They should NOT be given a hotel room, a mobile, money, and be allowed to roam free. This is the hole in the Tory ship that will sink them.

If they were genuine Asylum Seekers there are proper channels to go through to claim Asylum. That most of them destroy whatever ID documentation they have is a big clue. To verify their claim that they are genuine Asylum Seekers we need to know from what country they face persecution. Without proper ID Documentation we can't ascertain that in a speedy manner. Deporting them is made harder, because without ID Documentation we can not prove they "belong" to any other nation, and so can not properly deport them. But we could keep them within British Territory and slowly process them, but make that stay in British Territory "uncomfortable". We should create a Processing Centre on the South Sandwich Islands. Move that floating Asylum Seeker Hotel down there. Given them three square meals a day and a bed and toilet facilities. No Wi-Fi, no mobile phones, no where to escape to. They can stay there, effectively indefinitely, until such time as they provide us with concrete evidence of where they originate from, then we can assess their Asylum Claim and process. Those deemed not to be genuine asylum seeker can have the option, willingly return to their country of origin, or stay there as criminals. Yes, it will cost a bit. But being on an isolated, otherwise uninhabited island with no "underground economy" for them to disappear into to find jobs will soon dissuade them from coming over. If illegally crossing that channel into the UK puts them in a worse place for job prospects than where they have come from they will soon want to go back. Oh, and make the penalties for UK Companies hiring Illegal Immigrants ten times harsher than they are now - including placing the costs of all processing / housing / legal costs for those Illegals on to the company that hired them.
