During Sir Keir’s time as DPP, the CPS handled more than 4 million cases.
And while the CPS said the “vast majority” of cases against postmasters were private prosecutions, it said on Wednesday it had found “a small number” of CPS cases prosecuted based on evidence connected to Horizon.
A spokesperson said: “We’ve worked extensively and identified a small number of CPS cases which involved evidence connected to Horizon.
“In these cases, we have written to those defendants to disclose information so they could pursue an appeal.”
Do you think them 11 cases reached Sir Keir Desk? So you maintained there were none and now backtrack because the facts show otherwise and so you now scramble around for an excuse. Have you found where I said I was happy to call people scum who died and knowing you cannot are you going to withdraw and apologise? |

That is irrelevant and for your info not all postmasters were prosecute by that route,to this day and after various administrations they let people die rather than pay up and admit the truth. yes they was all prosecuted by that route what's irrelevant that a reform voter called over a thousand people who died scum . i think its very relevant . the only people who think its not are them that agree with him.

So the Director of Public Prosecutions had no responsibility for the Post Office prosecutions and he also apparently has no responsibility for the failure to bring Saville to justice. He was raking in an awful lot of money for someone with no responsibility about anything. |

He was raking in an awful lot of money for someone with no responsibility about anything. And that’s the problem the fault according to them always lies elsewhere,not of course to the Teflon’s in the HoC and lords,I would have more respect if some resigned as a matter of principle but those days are long gone and they have none. Meanwhileif you point this out and have the temerity to say much of what Reform say is not wrong then the actions of a few nut jobs and actors are seized upon and applied to all who show any support. |
