Five more police officers alleged to have placed bets on general election timing - Met Police
Is this now turning into a Met Police story rather than a political scandal...?

I see that Philip Davies bet £8000 on himself losing and has said he has done nothing illegal and it was ‘nobody’s business’ how much he gambles.. Way to go Phil..

Gambling rules set out by the gambling commison. Why is it forbidden to wager on yourself? In the world of gambling, it's considered unethical for players to bet on themselves. This means you can't place bets on yourself or your team in any kind of game, sport, or other activity related to gambling. The reason behind this rule is simple: when you bet on yourself, you have an unfair advantage over other players, as you know all the factors that affect your performance and you can use this knowledge to influence the outcome of the game in your favor. This would be unfair to other players and could even lead to corruption. In addition, when you bet on yourself, you run the risk of becoming overly confident about your performance, which could lead to poor decisions and bad judgment. This kind of behavior isn't acceptable in any gambling environment.

What i fail to understand is how stupid these people must be, having created the surveillance state we now endure, to then go out and initiate transactions in their own names…..
Have they no cousins ?
I suppose this is why no asian MP’s have been netted for doing this
Yet
