Red will be needing a four-in-hand to propel his Straßenkreuzer

Indeed Jonksy, there are millions of people in this country who are determined to hang onto their diesel/petrol cars. Which is why net zero loving Starmer should be regarded as a threat. It's a great strategy with only one weak point. Well a few years of freezing to death should show people they need to hang him from a lamp post stick a tree up his arse snd set fire to him to keep the newly homeless warm at christmas

Red will be needing a four-in-hand to propel his StraßenkreuzerWherever chips are fried, there will be found a source to run diesel engines. I have the full details of how it is done.

I was looking at an interesting projection regarding petroleum supplies in the future. Taking the entire world into account, it is said the rapid uptake of EVs and electric scooters will greatly reduce the demand for oil, and that in turn will depress its price. Throughout the oil producing nations, many solely rely on oil to earn their income. Therefore those countries will pump more oil to keep the same income in a falling market, which in turn will depress the price further.

I told you lot enough times. If we stopped behaving like arseholes towards the Chinese then they will come here and set up some 21st century car factories to replace Tata Indian crap. It's UK manufacturing jobs we really need to boost, and these guys are the experts. We can get ahead of the EU so long as we do not up our tariffs, and preferably drop any protectionism between the two counties. I know how they think. They don't like piss takers, but they do respect some of the more switched on Brits. If the Brits get cool and cheap cars out of this then they will be happy so long as they work reliably. I think these days the Chinese manufacturing is reaching world class. With brand new factories we can beat the Germans too, and the French!

We don't want the Chinese fuckers here bvl....I can remember when the Chinese took over Nortel in Torbay, they sent about a 100 staff to be trained here and they fucked off in a few days never to be seen again that's the problem a country has when they treat their own people and workforce like cheap shit.

I don't know about that one. I do know a bit about the tech jobs in China as I've heard from some Brits that do them. It's different for sure, but what stands out is they are causal on things that don't matter like what clothes you wear, if you want a smoke while machining something say, but what they do expect is hard work and committent. Like say joining the army, the whole factory is working to beat the competition and become number one. Competition can be fun though and the atmosphere is very friendly. Just make sure you don't screw things up and it will be fine. If you do a smart job though and stand out you will get promoted fast and be on good coin. So not good for lazy bastards, but excellent for the ultra ambitious. They love talent.
Anyway, why should it bother you. If you like that kind of place then go for it, or if you like curry go and work at Tata. What I like about the Chinese though is a deal is a deal. They will pay you what they say they will and when they will, no bullshit and leading you on.

Casual ware doesn't cut it in high tech jobs bvl..They should only show their eyes in the clean rooms...No wonder they produce only crap...

I did say on things that didn't matter. You know how it is these days. You would earn a fortune as a top blonde but get min wage for a high tech job in the UK. A mate of mine was in the airport over there and even the security manager was puffing on a cig next to a no smoking sign. That's what I mean by casual. They are only bothered by things that can cause trouble. It's the attitude that if it works we really don't care how you got it to work. Rules are flexible in many ways. It's like being at school, having a good excuse and getting let off. As long as you were not out to cause trouble. What you can't do though is bullshit them. That's a real personal insult and I guess why a lot of Brits don't see eye to eye. It's better to admit you fucked up and apologise.

By the way, it has just been announced. China is striking back on EU tariffs. Spanish pork is being hit, as is French brandy and European car manufacturers selling in China.
The UK needs a tariff war like a hole in the head. But the UK does not have to impose these tariffs and so the UK will be sitting pretty. We have got to behave more responsibly than the EU in order to attract FDI. If we can do that then GDP will grow and we can prove Brexit is worth it.
