www.standard.co.uk/business/millionaires-leave-uk-rich-high-net-worth-china-dubai-uae-florida-usa-dubai-henley-b1165154.htmlWho would have thought it. Stupid policies aimed at "making the rich pay their fair share" leads to them leaving the country and puts a big black hole in our finances. So how exactly are Labour going to "grow the economy" after they have forced the entrepreneurs to leave the country? Did anybody believe the rich where going to accept the scrapping of non-Dom and the resulting double-taxation? Did anybody believe you can talk about increasing capital gains, and wealth taxes, and the rich would stick around? It's a sad state of affairs when the only person willing to have an honest conversation about the UK's finance is Farage! It is obvious to anybody with a brain that we are living way, way beyond our means and EVERYBODY will have to put their hands in their pocket if we want decent public services.

The estabishment obviously wanted a third world and retarded country, and anyone who opposes that is far-right racist. On the plus side, all these retarded lefties will have a lot to cry about when they discover there just isn't anything left in the pot.

I keep hearing people say "it can't get any worse"... then I look at the Shadow Cabinet and I'm thinking don't be so sure. It's the age old problem with the left in the UK, they sell victimhood rather than pointing to the Nordic countries and selling a positive vision based on everybody accepting a level of taxation that matches the public services they want. Starmer is a fucking idiot, he has backed himself into a corner where he cannot raises taxes so won't be able to do shit.

Rachel Reeves, live on tv said that the rich will be hit by higher taxes, making no bones about it. The Tories have bankrupted the country, sunak was giving away free pub food. To some degree the money is needed, the country is bankrupt, it has been for a while.
The truth is that whoever runs the country in regards to money, oxford, cambridge educated, geniuses of the highest order, havent got the foggiest. The real education is about having been poor, and on top of that, not spending money of partial political projects, giving it away, having a bloated NHS, civil service, etc, that has the front line as an after thought.
Britain is corrupt in an acceptable way, that bothers no one, it goes under the radar.
But Britain is as corrupt as it comes, just look at the money......AND WHERE IT GOES.

You expect people to do what ?
Feel sorry for them ? ... lament their departure ... have a whip-round for them ...
Perhaps if we had as much concern for hard working families struggling on low incomes or going to the food banks then our country would not be in the sad and sorry state that it is now in.
The article IS NOT about Millionaires, the article admits this to be the case, it is about people with disposable income or assets of just under £800,000 or more.

People who become wealthy aren’t stupid . They will leave and the lefties will change the criteria of being wealthy to anyone who isn’t poor . They embrace the politics of envy . It oozes out of the lefties that post here.

Well I would expect people to think why are they leaving in such droves when we want/need to retain them. Losing a large slice of your tax receipts is not going to do anything for hard working families on low incomes - in fact it can quite easily make things worse for them.
