All the parties have wrong uns standing , Labour's trouble is that they have 650 . The labour bloke though has no chance in Clacton . Its all about whether Farage can overcome a 20,000 + conservative majority , its a big call .

This is all that we can expect from Labour. I can't see Starmer risking losing support to those Hamas supporting BLM lot he dropped to his knees to. Labour will just rely on their far-left mobs to violently attack Farage in a bid to no-platform him.

I think revelling in drinking the tears of white people is much much worse than equating Islam to Nazis which no matter how you look at it has legs. The former is straightforward racial hatred but apparently of the type that Labour give some ground to.

I see it as a diversion that raises the temperature of the Essex boys . I mean what party in their right mind sends a black racist to stand in a ward that's 95% white unless its a distraction from other wrong uns ?

In all honesty, this must be the easiest won election ever, somehow, they have tried to make it rocket science when it certainly isn't. Two policies would win this election hands down.

Powell said in 1968: “In this country in 15 or 20 years' time the black man will have the whip hand over the white man."
That prediction was made over 50 years ago. Apart from his speech, and without straining, what else is your Enoch remembered for…?

Apart from his speech, and without straining, what else is your Enoch remembered for…? Defeating the parliament act, in conjunction with Micheal Foot, for partly organising opposition to the Common market in parliament, for being a very competent health secretary, for resigning with two others from the treasury on principle, for making the best speech ever made in parliament as regards Hola camp, for speaking for many people who were being sidelined by the political class, for helping Labour to power in 1974, for helping to bring about the 75 referendum, for being an excellent constituency MP. There is much more.

In 1968 and for many years afterwards I thought Powell was a very unpleasant person and a racist, that was the common view put forward and accepted. Once you read what he actually said and did then a new picture forms, you should try it. In essence he was one of the best parliamentarians we ever had and did not advance his political career as he always held to his principles. Foot was a great admirer, Benn was a friend which was temporarily upset by the Birmingham speech and in his constituencies he acted with distinction for many of his constituents.
