The UK had an expanding economy in 2004 which thanks to Right-wing Thatcher's butchering of thousands of small and not so small businesses and education left the UK short on professional, business people, entrepreneurs, skilled and semi skilled workers, hence the reason for increased immigration from the EU. And no, not Labour's fault ever since. Jut take a look at the last 14 years. While I basically agree with your last paragraph, Just what have Reform promised to do to cure the immigration problem? Didn't stop lefty Angela Rayner and her husband using Thatchers Right-Wing policy of the Right-to-buy policy buying TWO ex-council properties, turned out it made Ange and her husband to be a nice little earner, I am sure Rayner would love to thank Thatcher for giving her a chance to get on the property ladder, shame Ange now wants to ditch that policy for others less fortunate than herself. ... and dodge tax and commit electoral fraud. But hey, much like Starmers beer & curry night, nothing to see here folks, move along.

Oh please, stop it. Thatcher left office in 1990, yet you reckon she was responsible for increased immigration during the Blair government! I'm not quite sure what to make of that tbh. Ref Reform, who knows what they may or may not do. But one thing is for sure, we're tried the rest and this is the result. So I'm willing to give Reform a shot. If I was still able to vote in the UK so would I, one thing the Lefties never mention in the days under Labour when we were called the " Sick Man of Europe " due to all the strikes which hammered our economy, Which caused redundancies thousands up thousands of them due to Businesses and Manufactures going to wall as we could not compete with cheaper imports from overseas, it took 18 years to get the UK back on track
