Was it 81 when Blair took over, open door immigration. Today there is immigration at record levels, coupled with multiculturalism, which is permission to create your country in this country.
To oppose those two things, or even modify it is forbidden.
Integration is not expected. So there you have it, open door immigration and multiculturalism, can someone rewmind me when that was on the statute books to be voted on in parliament, these two things have led to state the country is in today.
Can i remind you of the tory manifesto in 2019, lying at its best, not fit to govern, as well as labour.
Vote Reform, its our last chance to turn it around.

British people invented Multi-cultarlism
We went over to the America's, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia and took our culture, language and way of life with us.
We had to accept that Canada had to be a mixture of British, French, Native Peoples, all of which would rightly not let go of their own ways. We had to accept that Caribbean people would only accept or take-on British culture to a degree.
We attempted to force Christianity upon Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims with only very limited success because the peoples of India refused to abandon their beliefs.
We ... The British, went to other peoples lands on the other side of the world, and we attempted to recreate Little England and Little Scotland, we attempted to force our ways, beliefs, customs and practices, and even our language upon them.

Didnt work then. Naval gazing at its best. Multiculturalism is different to government, and a more advanced society by definition will improve local ways of doing things, like suggesting dancing round a fire waving spears will not make it rain.

President Blairs term in office was 1997 - 2007, but yes it was certainly Blair's Labour government who opened up the UK to mass uncontrolled immigration, and it must be said, eagerly assisted by every government since then. Blair was very fond of preaching about the wonderful benefits of a multicultural society, which is of course a complete myth. We now know that mass immigration has not created the predicted 'cafe culture', quite the reverse. It has in fact created areas that are little more than high crime ghettoes because immigrants do not integrate, who knew. Mass immigration continues to cause resentment from ordinary people who are sick of this country being overrun by immigrants who do not share or even respect our customs, our traditions, our way of life, and in many cases not even our language. And ordinary people are sick of being shouted down as far right or racist if they air genuine concerns. I agree, vote Reform UK.

Muslims did that far earlier than the British . So did Spain . So did the Mongols, Greece and Rome to a certain extent . In other words you are posting bollocks .

So are we debating Immigration here or Multi-culturalism ?
Large influxes of Italian immigrants changed our culture in the early 20th Century, they brought family run ice cream businesses, coffee bars and spaghetti houses.
It was Jewish immigrants who gave us battered, deep fried fish ( Fish & Chips )
Indian immigrants gave us Britains most popular take-away dish - Chicken Tikka Massala
We have had no more immigration than any other comparable country including France and Germany, and on a Pro-Rata basis we have seen much less immigration than many nations such as the United States or Canada.
In Canada, virtually everyone accepts that they ARE a Multi Cultural society, most people are proud of the fact, at the last census it was established that almost one quarter of the entire population of Canada were born somewhere else, with the biggest number been born in India.
Whilst it has to be accepted that in comparison to Canada, a vast nation, we cannot possibly have unlimited or continual large numbers of immigrants, however I see absolutely nothing wrong in Multi-Cultaralism.

And clogged roads, schools, hospitals, social services, housing, bankruptcy, thee deestruction of britains culture, thats my main point, im aware we are going over old ground, the two in tandem are lethal.
What two is that?
Unlimited immigration and multiculturalism. Is it not normal to expeect immigrants to assimilate?
Our prime minister has not, born in southampton but sporting indian garb, religion. Even seecond and third generation immigrants support india and pakistan at cricket matches. We have not deebated and voted on these two elemeents, it has been slipped under the door by design.
How do immigrants of whatever generation expect to function in society if they cant speak english, reead and write in english etc, in bars them from getting a job etc.
Assimilation is vital, you cant have Hyderabad in the back streets of central birmingham. Progress is required, not belief systems from the bush in 1276, which is what weve got.
Meanwhile britain wipes their as sses, treats theeir illnesses etc and what we get back is antagonism, complaints, not gratitude and a thank god for britain attitude. And as a first gen immigrant, id like to thank britain for my upbringing, when i think of the alternative, thank god, my parents thought the same.
The alternative was being brought up in rural northern Italy, or worse, belorussia. Both horrendous.

The UK had an expanding economy in 2004 which thanks to Right-wing Thatcher's butchering of thousands of small and not so small businesses and education left the UK short on professional, business people, entrepreneurs, skilled and semi skilled workers, hence the reason for increased immigration from the EU. And no, not Labour's fault ever since. Jut take a look at the last 14 years. While I basically agree with your last paragraph, Just what have Reform promised to do to cure the immigration problem?

Oh please, stop it. Thatcher left office in 1990, yet you reckon she was responsible for increased immigration during the Blair government! I'm not quite sure what to make of that tbh. Ref Reform, who knows what they may or may not do. But one thing is for sure, we're tried the rest and this is the result. So I'm willing to give Reform a shot.

Didn't stop lefty Angela Rayner and her husband using Thatchers Right-Wing policy of the Right-to-buy, buying up TWO ex-council properties at a vast knock down price, turned out it made Ange and her husband a nice little earner, I am sure Rayner would love to thank Thatcher for giving her a chance to get on the property ladder, shame Ange now wants to ditch that policy for others less fortunate than herself.
