It's what you voted for. Although perhaps you didn't realise.

And the 40-odd million who spend their annual holidays in the EU or visit on business, no empathy for them either? Nobody stops them from having a holiday or business in the EU . Stop whining.

It's what you voted for. Although perhaps you didn't realise. We don’t need to vote for French pettiness. It’s comes automatically.

I'm not whining it doesn't affect me. Nobody is stopping anyone, they're having to have their passport stamped, that's all. It may or may not be a pita depending on where they go and whether the officials are in a good mood or not. A Brexit feature.
As for second home owners, it's a different and more serious matter. Whereas pre-Brexit they could stay as long as they liked but now, thanks to Brexit, they can only stay for 90 days in any 180-day period. I know you don't care but thousands do.

Something between your ears is stopping you from comprehending what this parachute drop was all about and how unique it is . I know ex remainers tend to be bitter little creatures though .

It's what you voted for. Although perhaps you didn't realise. What! Are you seriously of the opinion we voted for the bitter and incompetent EU/French to ignore thousands of criminals dragging dinghies down French beaches?

They're leaving in dinghies because they know there'll a red-carpet welcome at the other side, something they'd never get in France. They'll also know there's an almost infinitesimally small chance of ever being made to leave and they can look forward to a lifetime suckling on the public teat. Who can blame them?
You didn't vote for the EU/French but you certainly voted for successive governments that have facilitated this invasion.

I didn't vote for EU/French double standards and incompetence either, but the UK must be punished for Brexit.

But I do have empathy for the tens of thousands of second home owners and the millions of other visitors who will be seriously inconvenienced. I know you don't care but you probably have no plans to ever leave granny's basement and broaden your horizons. I actually feel sorry for you, you bought a pig in a poke and now have to live with the consequences.

Why don't they stop it?

If your argument is based on people waiting longer in a queue or second home owners not being able to spend more than 90days in it then your brain is locked in its own little basement . Stop whining and tell the second home owners to rent their apartments and then tell those people waiting a line to take an extra bottle of water . Don’t feel sorry for me . I’m not the one making excuse for French pettiness by displaying even more pettiness .
