The Tories look outwards in an attempt to entice wealth into the country, Starmer is seeking to create wealth from inside the country. A major difference between the parties. Labour don't know how to create wealth end of. And no, I didn't watch it. Why the fuck would I bother WE have the potential of a new Labour Party in government with new ideas, so you might be right, personally I will wait and see.

Oh fuck off - have you not learn't by now?. The Tories have spent every election since 2010 vowing to cut taxes - and yet here we are with record levels of taxation.. Taxes are going only one way whatever party is in power - and that is up. There is no difference between either of them. I found this site quite interesting, although I wouldn't put much faith in anything the OBR says quoted there. What's REALLY interesting is the spending adjusted to 1995 prices of government from 1900 to 2019. Any illusion the Tories ever pushed back the boundaries of the state interference with our lives is truly squashed.‘Winning from the centre’ is code for socialism. Which is why the Tories deserve to be destroyed.

Higher taxes do not create wealth - if it did then Europe would not be the slowest growing continent on the planet. I never suggested otherwise.

Rightist comments based upon nonsense thinking.

I mean, I knew that from Blair and the Hindoojah brothers but it's useful to see Starmer publicly state his support for a man who helped a company under investigation by the police screw four hundred thousand out of a public business finance pot so he could give half of it to fund the leadership campaign of the man who advocated he get tbe money.

The boy even posts abuse and lies toward the very few centre-left who actually try and make proper use of this forum. I think he just wants to trash threads that don't follow his extremist narrative with immature and unproductive nonsense.

On the Brightside, the majority of people would rather face nuclear annihilation than have Starmer or Sunak run the country for another day.
