Those cracks in the ground are not caused by vibration from diggers . heavy rain fall is probably the reason though surveys prior to works on the built houses should have raised concerns with the ground and possible movement .
The whole area like many areas in the UK is probably not fit for housing development due to ground quality , movement and water tables . We haven't got as much room for expansion as some would think , the only way is up .
