Yes I noticed this earlier, another water company in the headlines. I wonder if Starmer will consider nationalisation? Well I suppose he might consider it, but at an estimated cost of £90 billion I doubt it will be much more than a consideration.

Nothing will happen unless enough of you have had enough of being poisoned and stop voting to be poisoned, in more ways than one.

I even gave Zany a lifeline, but he has the concentration span of an ant.

More likely because the air planes are up there, you are down here and overall there is not a lot to see.

Paignton Green is the best blace to be or Berryhead in Brixham as you can see the full lenght of the bay and show is held mainly over the water......We just had the Typhoon wake up Dartmouth where I live...

This guys, is why our country is broke. If she were paid on performance she would be paying us money. How did she get this job? Is she someone's daughter? Boss of embattled South West Water to get £300,000 pay rise after Devon parasite outbreak left locals ill with severe dehydration and without drinkable water for weeks...... The boss of South West Water has received a £300,000 pay rise just days after a parasite outbreak left locals in Devon ill with severe dehydration and without drinking water for more than two weeks. Susan Davy, chief executive of Pennon group which owns the water company, saw her pay packet soar to £860,000 in 2023-24 from £543,000 the previous year. The 58 per cent jump in earnings was down to a hefty long-term performance award and must be held for two years and reinvested in Pennon stock. The annual report showed that Ms Davy saw her base annual salary rise to £492,000 in April last year from £475,000 in 2022-23 and it was hiked again by 4 per cent to £511,290 in April this year. It also pointed out that the boss had turned down a £237,000 annual bonus but had accepted the lucrative performance bonus. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13513633/Boss-South-West-Water-pay-rise-Devon-parasite.html

Generally the same advice when holidaying in a Spanish area/island. Are they third world too?

This is what happens when you let the third world in. There is no sense of fair play, everyone, like in Russia, pad their own pocket books, while we drink s hit.
